Is it even possible to be grateful always?

How can we extol (to raise, to raise in words, to praise highly, to magnify, to exalt in commendation) the Lord at ALL times and let His praise ALWAYS be On our lips?

Firstly, we make a conscious decision that no matter what happens, I will not say anything that does not line up with what the word of God says – no matter what!!! I would rather remain silent than speak anything that’s contrary to what I believe – even though not saying anything will not change anything but at least things won’t get worse.
Secondly, we stop talking doom, lack, fear, discouragement, but instead we watch our mouths and speak only God’s praise and we just keep giving thanks to God no matter what.
Thirdly, we change our focus from things happening here and now because the devil is always searching for ways to distract us through all these circumstances. Instead, we keep a steady gaze on Jesus who is able to keep us from falling. After all, what you give your attention to is what will grow in your life.
Fourthly, begin to speak of the things God has done for you so far by thinking about the things He has brought you through. Think about situations that could have stung you and knocked you out. Think about how somehow you scaled through… Think about how it could have been worse and even how your current situation could be worse but somehow s-o-m-e-h-o-w everyday you get through!!! …thinking about all these will bring so much gratefulness in your heart, that the only thing that will come out of your mouth and heart will be praise and thanks to God.

One of my favorite Psalms :

Psalms 34 – I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Love you all x
