The connection between praise and glory

When we sincerely praise God with no reservations or holding back, we attract the presence of God; with His presence comes His glory which is one of God’s attribute, and with this glory comes transformation (the operation of changing, an operation that converts – Merriam Webster dictionary)!

Now let’s break it down:
He said I will inhabit the praises of my people (Psalms 22:3 (KJV) – But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel), so as we praise Him, He comes to live in our praise i.e. when we praise Him, we attract His presence. As His glory is a part of Him, when He comes to live in our praise, He comes with His glory. Then 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) says – But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. So as we behold His glory, we are changed into His image – wow! So next time you lift your hands or voice in praise, you can be sure that God will come down and inhabit your praise and as He comes down, He comes with His glory that will change you, and every circumstance that surrounds you – you can be sure that your life and situations will never be the same again after you praise God sincerely and with all your heart. Hope your praise will be different next time?

Love you all x
